I can’t believe it is Friday already.
I’ve been busy canning and freezing and time is just flying by.
I’ve spent a lot of years learning how to stretch a dollar.
I make everything from scratch.
I make stock from a turkey carcass.
We all have a different idea of frugality.
Some people clip coupons to save money.
I don’t use coupons much because I don’t use what I can find coupons for.
I would like to know what is frugal for you
or do you have any questions on how to be frugal with something.
Leave me a comment or send me an email.
My email is greatcookrep@live.com.
Have a great Friday!

Hmmmmm…. frugal… hang on while I grab a dictionary and look that word up because my husband says I have no idea what it means!

I'm the same about coupons. They are mostly for things I don't use anyway. I'm really not very frugal but I do make stock from carcasses, not for frugality but because they are delicious. I always used to buy chickens, boil them, use the meat and save the stock. Don't do it so much these days, less room, more age.

Jo, you are right about that. Store bought stock just isn't the same.

i think i am pretty frugal—some of it comes from frank's experience in the food brokers business and lots of other food related jobs—–haha, the last time i tried to use a coupon–the cashier calmly, handed it back to me and said “i am sorry mamm, this is for another store” 😉
